The Gran Turismo series of games has got to be the last word in racing simulators. Its state of the art graphics and realistic physics has always made the game simply head and shoulders above other racing simulators. However, it lacks one vital dimension to a "Real Driving Simulator", damage effects.
Other racing sims, such as Toca or Forza have been highly successfull due to the fact that they have included realistic damage effects in there games giving the game a real life like quality.
We therefore plead to Polyphony Digital to fufill its slogan for GT5-"The Real Driving Simulator" and encourage them to make what already promises to be an outstanding game even more spectacular.
FORZA HAS HAD THIS FOR YEARS!! come on polyphony get with it already. tired of these perfect showroom cars even after a 100mph crash

its honestly pathetic that a game calling itself a simulator doesnt have this yet. how are you supposed to learn how to drive properly if you cant even dent the car when you hit a wall?
