I have finalized the formal proposal requesting that the zoo administration consider the name Luna for the new calf. This document is currently being prepared for electronic submission to the Dallas Zoo leadership team later this week.

The administration at the Dallas Zoo has acknowledged the volume of interest regarding this naming request. I am currently coordinating a time to meet with their communications team to present our formal proposal.

celia loved animals when they killed the gorilla she cried for days please name the giraffe i honor of her loyalty to animals
This would be the perfect memorial for a wonderful person who loved animals and use to work at the Dallas Zoo. #inhonorofcelia
Name the baby after my aunt Celia Luna.. she loved all those animals there at the zoo.. I know she's smiling down on that baby
Please name the giraffe " luna" in honor of my best friend Celia Luna. She was an employee for the Dallas Zoo for over 13 yrs!

celia was a great person with a love for animals and she loved her job. That is more than most people can say about their jobs. She absolutely loved the work she did at the Dallas Zoo!
