This petition has been created with the sole purpose of getting the 'Dalek character' who hit 'The Doctor Character' with an anti x-ray energy beam in the 2008 episode entitled 'The Stolen Earth' of the BBC's long running 'Doctor Who' show officially recognised, canonically, by the title 'Dalek Fred'. The reason why this Dalek should be heralded by a title is for the fact that he has been the sole Dalek to ever successfully hit the Doctor with an anti x-ray beam and as such much be accepted as superior to all other Daleks including Sec, Caan, Thay, Jast, the Emperor and even Davros the creator of the Daleks. The reason for the title 'Fred' is in memory of the hard work of Bruce Mai who won various awards for his hard work in creating a Dalek as a child curing the 1980's. He won many awards and has named his Dalek 'Fred'. Bruce Mai has nothing to do with this petition or it's creators. It is just we, fans of the show, who salute his work and are determined to have 'Dalek Fred' recognised either posthumously or retrospectively within the Doctor Who fictional universe.
