Flagrant violation of Court orders at Dahihandi Festival at Thane 2015

Utter nonsense. We have created these monsters. They are doing a disservice to society. This will not promote religion either. We have to be blamed for electing them. I support this petition.

Superstition, babas, and variety of man imagined gods like Radhe Maa, etc. have taken over this country as a leech suckig blood of this nation. Almost all out festivals create litter, sound, smoke and pollution of all types. I do not know what people want to achieve by living in imagination. If there was god, India would have been the top most country in the world, but Sweden which has most of the people non believers of god has the highest number of happy people, Recently New York Times had reported that American Psychological Association Classifies Belief in “God” As Mental Illness. According to the American Psychological Association (APA), a strong and passionate belief in a deity or higher power, to the point where it impairs one’s ability to make conscientious decisions about common sense matters, will now be classified as a mental illness. People who are involved in such celebrations, pujas, beliefs, deities, rituals, imaginative stories of gods are mentally sick, Lot of time is wasted by mentally sick people in India hampering the progress. This will continue till the youth is given proper guidance not to believe in god and babas and the superstitious beliefs. Dahi handi is another nonsense......what are we trying to achieve by this?

I support the Petition. However the blatant Violations were in Mumbai too and probably throughout Maharashtra. I hope that every time only the court orders are not needed to make Governments function properly.. We citizens must become proactive to make politicians and government executives accountable for good governance.
