My son goes to school with an LSA. as a distant learning parent, i am also acting like an LSA, a teacher and a full time working mom in the oilfield which has taken the biggest hit.
what is the DAA position on LSAs? we dont want them to be unemployed but at the same time is DAA ready to sponsor their salaries?

Agree wholeheartedly. Your aim is to take the same profit as previous years whilst all the parents are suffering loss of jobs or unpaid leave.

I have 3 kids , and we lost all our money and the saving in the world market crash ! We ask to lower those fees at least half wut we should pay

Agreed, GEMS Education is a multi billion dollar in turnover and revenues backed up by very wealthy PE funds and institutional investors. They definitely can afford the hit this year and next year as well.
Parents are losing their jobs and GEMS are worried about 3rd semesters tuitions!!
GEMS CEO letter today made it clear, “parents, we understand it’s tough, but we want our money, go get it”

Strongly agree, the parents are full time teachers while working full time remotely on their actual job. Schools definitely should consider a discount on this year school fees as the tuition fees that we pay includes a lot of subjects like PE , Swimming, Music and art that are not given fully to the kids while on remote learning.

I fully appreciate the effort done by the teachers, technicians and management teams to ensure that e-learning is as effective and as smooth as possible. However, the fees paid were for much more than what we are getting now, including facilities use.
Most families are getting cuts on their income and it is only fair that we all take this hit together and not add more burden on parents. Appreciate your understanding
