I would be happy to have them in the same category as parents. This does not affect employees (even retired) at all.

As an retiree — tell your children over 24 to work for an airline to get their own benefits 40++++ yrs worked at AA and your children under 24 get on the plane - with or without you - on the flight before me !!!! Get retirees D2R first then ask about your ADULT CHILDREN

What I think is foolish of you, Karen Anderson, who started this petition, is this: You state you have 30 years with AA, so you can not be far from retirement. You should put your energy into repealing the D2R travesty, which has screwed over both all current retirees, and ALSO people like you that worked perhaps 20 years thinking your D2 privilege was secure.... We all lost, you and your not-yet-retired peers included.

This is a step forward, perhaps we could choose a sibling if we don’t have parents or kids!!

I would only sign this if the D2C would come just before D3s, in otherwords, after D2Rs & D2Ps.

No. Your ADULT child who has never passed out a coke or a bag of peanuts doesn’t deserve to be placed above someone who has worked for decades. Have them get a job with their own benefits. Your family vacation is important to you? What makes you think retirees’ vacations aren’t as important to them. Absolutely not.
