I think cyclist should pay Rego for the right to use, and maintinan our roads - just as cars and motorbikes have to. Currenlty in the ACT there are a number of roads being modified to provide bike lanes for cyclists - I thought we had bike paths for this purpose, why now are we providing bike lanes Anyway, my gripe is that our rego is paying for this, instead of fixing roads that need fixing. If cyclists have their own lane to ride in alongside traffic, they should have to pay for that privilege along with the rest of us! I plan on taking this to my local member, or someone who is willing to take forward and do something about it. Thank you for your support.
