This is a petition to build a bicycling path between Creston, B.C. and Crawford Bay, B.C. This will allow cyclists to have a safe route along one of the most popular routes in the central Kootenays. This will compliment other cycling routes throughout the Kootenay area. Presently, there are no shoulders in which cars nor cyclists can pull over on other than the infrequent pull-outs for slower vehicles. As the general populous is wanting to have more physical activity in their lives, cycling is becoming more and more popular in this area. Unfortunately, there are no actually cycling routes in this area.
