Dear Local Residents,
It has come to our attention that there is no provision of cycle racks in Forehill Carpark Ely. This car park is increasingly being used by to access the local amenities including Queen shoe shop, Fenland physio, Moore hairdressers, Forebeauty and Ely estates as well as the soon to be Elyte Gym. We have been asked by the council to provide evidence that this cycle rack is needed and therefore if you agree please sign our petition!

I work at Fenland Physio and have numerous clients come in asking where to lock there bike, at present there isn't anywhere. They have been using the bars outside Queens Shoes on the slope but this causes an obstruction.
Definitely a good idea to install these cycle racks.
Car parking is so bad any cycle racks have to be a good thing
It would be really useful to have some proper bike racks in Ely.
If we are moving towards cleaner travel, we need somewhere to park the green machines!!
As a regular cyclist in Ely the lack of cycle racks is noticeable. It would be a great addition to the town.
Cycle park provision should be encouraged in all areas of the city particularly shopping areas.

Bike rack is needed for our clients and other customers! they have to prop them up against our front window as it's a worry they are not safe and could be easily taken
