We, the undersigned, are asking you to not appeal the Zoning Administrator's decision that was given to CWCLA by City Hall on June 26, 2013. Such action will be hugely detrimental to Citizens of the World Silver Lake/Echo Park, its students, and its families and staff. Appealing the Zoning Administrator's favorable decision regarding the Assistance League's off-site parking and side yards will cause a delay in CWCSL receiving a Certificate of Occupancy (COO) from the city of Los Angeles. The appeal process you are considering can be very lengthy, as we have to wait to get back on the docket, the hearing has to occur, and a decision must be rendered and then filed. This will be hugely impactful for our school. CWCSL cannot occupy the Assistance League space with the intended student body as planned until a COO has been issued. Right now the appeal could force our school to rent additional spaces and split our campuses even more causing an upheaval in plans for the entire school community, as well as wasting money that we desperately need for our children. We hope you will strongly consider the impact your actions will have on over 250 families and abstain from appealing the Zoning Administrator's decision. While there are many things that we need to work on as a community, we implore you not to hold our school hostage and jeopardize the future of our children. As fellow parents we hope that we can find a common ground to help build the school of our dreams. Thank you, Parents of Citizens of the World Silver Lake/Echo Park

The administration remains silent regarding our request to forgo an appeal of the current zoning decision. This lack of communication forces us to prepare for further delays that will impact the education of our students.

This is just ridiculous. Why keep the kids waiting when everything is already approved? Let it go.

Seriously? Stop trying to block this. The school is doing great things for our neighborhood.

Typical bureaucracy getting in the way of progress. Cut the red tape and let them move in.

Enough with the games already. Just let the kids get into their classrooms. They deserve a stable space.

LEAVE THE SCHOOL ALONE. Everyone is just trying to do what is best for the students. Stop wasting money on legal stuff.
