Our children deserve the very best. Castro Valley is a great community. We need to support all our athletic teams. We have fantastic and dedicated coaches. We need to make sure that we have the appropriate funds so that the coaches can spend their time coaching and mentoring versus fund raising. Thank you for your support!

As a former student athlete of the Castro Valley Unified School District, being a parent of 3 student athletes in CVUSD and a former coach of 3 different sports teams at Castro Valley High it is vital the funding for student athletes be restored. Students are motivated many different ways. Student athletics teachs many students to be more successful and for some it keeps them in school and out of trouble. The Castro Valley Unified School District needs to be proactive and find a way to get funding for student athletics. Maybe it is getting grant monies or other ways but they need to get it done.

This is for our kids health.... keeping them involved in physical activities is a must for their future and not all parents can afford to keep them in it. And if the district isnt able to help they kids are paying for the negative outcome.

high school athletics should be funded by the school systems. instead of cutting programs, those suit and ties need to use their college degrees and working experience to continue to provide for the schools. why not have them take a pay cut in stead of taking away from kids? i guarantee they wont struggle as much as the schools presently are.
