$44 is way too high. No need for magazines or any perks. Just need to be able to participate in the tournaments.

I decided to not renew this year due to the cost. After 5 years of USTA, I'm done. What does my $44 pay for?

Please lower the membership fees. It's getting expensive to play!

Too expensive for a 70 year old on a fixed income. Also, here in Green valley, AZ joining a usta league is controlled by local cliques who decide who gets in and plays. Don't need the grief of paying $ 44 for tennis mag subscription.

Funds is one reason I stopped playing tournaments along with lack of interest and thought in repeated prizes after winning in division. Do not understand benefit in USTA fee, team sign up fee and court fees. For the first time in 6 years will not max out potential opportunities to play tennis i.e. 18&Over and 40&over in both CTL, LATA along with 18&Over SATA and 18&Over HHI.

A 50% increase in the cost for the USTA membership is too much!

The fees to be a USTA member are too high. THey should be not more than $25.00 year just to be a member.

I am now playing non-USTA tennis in alternative leagues with all of the benefits and nearly none of the costs due to ever-increasing USTA membership and league fees for which we are seeing little return in our local area. Tennis is a lifetime sport, but not if USTA prices everyone out of playing to pay for salaries, services and support that are only enjoyed by USTA leadership and elite sectional and national players. I though the idea was to "Get in the Game" but apparently, that is not the case. USTA is limiting access to the game by these exhorbitant membership and league fees. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

I am hoping to get away from USTA because of the cost and little return and still participate in some type of league play in my city. We are exploring other options.

I wonder how many people have tried USTA once (for a year) and decided it is not worth the cost to renew?!
Lack of member retention seems like a huge issue if they constantly have to churn for new members.

Please consider this. Not everyone who plays the game is wealthy!
Thanks!

Not only we have to pay annual fees, I believe we have to play for each league we play also. I love ALTA (Atlanta Lawn Tennis Associations). Only pay $22 I believe and cover entire year for all leagues I play.

Good idea, I wonder if they could offer a "digital only" one where they waste money don't printing those magazines.
