There seems to be some controversy over trees and their location on the Virginia Tech campus. The trees are next to the football stadium and the school wants to put a much wanted indoor practice facility in the location where the trees are located. Football creates a lot of money for Virginia Tech. Just because the trees are old doesn't mean they shouldn't be cut down and new ones planted elsewhere. Please do not stop progress because something is old. A tree is a tree is a tree. After 300+ years their time has come. They are just living off the government at that point anyways. Cut down those trees and let progress have it's rightful spot in our society.
