Dear Ryanair customers,

In recent weeks, the low-cost airline company Ryanair has been charging many customers for airport check-in even when the Ryanair online check-in platform had failed to work properly and thus had left those customers with no option but to check in the airport. The failure has mostly been related to faulty web forms, that did not allow the passengers to specify the personal identification data, and, hence online check-in could not be completed.

Though the amounts charged by the company do correspond to the fees listed in the terms of policies of Ryainair that the customers agree upon ticket purchase (i.e. 55 EUR per person), it is unrightful for the company to charge customers with these fees for airport check-in if the company failed to provide all the necessary conditions for online check-in up until 2 hours before the flight.

This incident has also been covered in the media in this provided link from a British newspaper, for example.

The goal of this petition is to gather flight booking data from the those Ryanair customers that rightfully declare that they have experienced such problems and to use this data in a formal complaint to all European civil aviation authorities, or in court, given that Ryanair currently refuses to either no longer charge customers that have declare have witnessed this problem during an online check-in attempt or to reimburse these customers after having filled in a post-flight complaint to Ryanair describing the issue.

Please fill in your family name, e-mail address as well as your booking number in the additional information form (together with any additional information about your problem you may want to provide).

Note: Please only fill in this petition if the above incident type applies to you. Also, please feel free to foward this petition to anyone that you believe might be of victim of this incident type.
