"We the signers of this petition, want to be recognized by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) - that we are against any and all efforts by AEP and any of it's subsidiaries from passing on an increase to service and delivery charges related to repair costs and maintenance to its retail and small business customers."

As a customer of AEP, I understand that things break and that there can be disruptions of service due to unforeseen instances such as inclement weather. I also understand that I pay for my electrical service that supposedly pays for their employees, equipment and maintenance. What I don't understand is how I'm responsible for reimbursing the company money they had to spend on maintenance and repairs that I'm supposedly already paying for. This petition is in regards to the power outages across OH that started on or around June 29th, 2012 and how AEP is planning on asking PUCO to allow them to charge us, their customers, for their losses, their repairs and maintenance. According to 10TV.com, AEP wants to pass the costs of their repairs to their customers who are already paying. UPDATE: AEP has blocked me, personally, from their Facebook page, deleted my posts and had Facebook delete content on my page. They also will not approve my comments on their website.
