This petition is being put together for the welfare of Baby Andrew. Baby Andrew was a victim of child abuse, the alleged abuser Austin Griffitt was arrested and released on 5,000 bond. His mother Savannah Marie Porter still has parental consent on this child. Since he has been in the hospital December 9th, she has been to visit him 4 times. His Nanny and Papa (Cynthia Owens and Charles Owens) have been by his side since the moment they were notified that day. His mother is still standing by Mr Griffitts side and has not been involved with Andrews recovery whatsoever. We have all come together and have been following this story ever since via facebook. We are petitioning that his maternal grandparents The Owens be granted physical and primary custody once he leaves the hospital. The fact that his abuser is back on the street and his mother is still planning to be with him, makes us very nervous for him to return to her care. This baby is an absolute Miracle and has overcome all the doctors prognosis's. He is making a speedy recovery, although he has much more to do. Please help us support this and sign this petition for his grandparent's to receive custody once he leaves the hospital. He needs to be in a safe environment and that is with Cynthia and Charles Owens.
