I have been reading the stories you all are sharing about the dangerous traffic near our schools and they are honestly heartbreaking. It is clear that this is about protecting our children and neighbors rather than just paperwork. I am just a person who saw a need but this momentum belongs to every one of you who signed.

I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the way the neighborhood has come together for this project. This level of support is entirely due to your dedication to our children and I am just humbled to be a small part of it.

Living right near the middle school is a nightmare during drop off times. Something needs to change before someone gets hurt.

Fix the crosswalks!! Kids are crossing constantly and cars barely slow down. It is way too dangerous.

Too much traffic near montavista. If we want kids to actually bike to school we need better lanes and slower speeds.

The amount of cars speeding through here is insane. Please help us get this grant so we can actually walk to the park without fearing for our lives.
