Yes! A pump track would be an excellent feature and offer young people (and me/older!) somewhere to practice new biking control and develop skills. All for this!

There is a severe lack of bike and skills facilities in Fife. Pump tracks are a brilliant place to learn fundamental mountain bike skills and Scotland is one of the best places in the world to mountain bike, evidenced by the annual downhill World Cup in Fort William and recent EWS races held here. Scottish riders like Reece Wilson and Mikayla Parton are making themselves known across the world yet despite this very few young people get into the sport. Facilities and trails being far away/hard to get to is just one of the barriers. We should be doing everything we can to encourage young people into sport - mountain biking and skating are two sports growing hugely in popularity. It’s time our facilities caught up.
