An upgrade is long overdue. It would be lovely to take my daughter to a new and improved skatepark.

The popularity of the pump track in Glenrothes is a testament to how in demand these types of facilities are. This would be very welcome in Cupar.

I have a kid who would love this. Currently there is next to nothing free for the kids to do in Cupar. This would be great for them all.

We have wee ones who live being outside on their bikes, but we often have to drive to neighbouring towns and further afield to find decent facilities. Having a better provision in Cupar would benefit so many.

Facilities like these are an integral part of grass route development, not just for skateboarding but using sports like skateboarding for cross training for the likes of building finer motor skills and balance for many different sports, e.g. snowboarding. The more facilities we have like this, the more chance we have of developing future talent. Not to mention giving kids more to do for fun, development and to keep them off the streets!

Cupar needs a revamp, a new skate park would make all the difference to the community. With the extra addition of a pump track this would attract more people to the area promoting local businesses and improving local economy.
