I love all our little birds they need urgent protection

I love raven but not at the expense of our fairy wrens.

I have noticed this happening over the past ten to fifteen years. They clear out an area, wait a few years and then return. Loss of habitant with people having 'modern gardens' and the push for cramped housing with little or no backyards has also been a huge influence in the decline of small bird life.

These little birds bring so much joy and beauty they need to be saved and have disappeared from my area in the Blue Mountains

Please stop ravens killing our native sweet blue fairy wrens!! They are our prettiest national bird!!

Save the fairy wrens

Please do everything we can to protect these little birds! Feral cats, ravens, Indian mynahs!!!

Please think about the diversity of our native wildlife, these little wrens were part of my childhood, rarely see them these days after invasions of the bigger birds and Indian miners

Had no idea they were endangered. Are ravens the same as crows ?

I had a thriving colony in my Leichhardt back yard, along with silver eye finches, that was decimated about 8 years ago. Didn’t connect that with the arrival of ravens, but can join the dots now. Pigeon population has also plummeted, no more swallows either. Heartbreaking

Pretty much my favourite small bird. I can’t imagine the bush without them.

Sometimes drastic measures have to be taken to protect the little birds who have no defences
