This is a petition to prevent the Connecticut Senate from tabling the medical marijuana bil CT HB 5389,  http://cga.ct.gov/2012/TOB/H/2012HB-05389-R00-HB.htm , legalizing marijuana as legitimate medical treatment for people suffering from a variety of afflictions, most importantly those suffering from terminal illnesses, glaucoma and cancer. The longer we put this off, the more these people must be forced to suffer and denied medical treatment that would critically ease the suffering of their diseases. The bill is vital to the reformation of Connecticut's economy and detrimental to the people to deny another means of acquiring much needed tax dollars and opening the doors for new medical practices, new medical clubs, legal dispensers and trained professionals in one of the fastest growing fields in the country. This bill would also provide medical patient rights to those already seeking treatment for serious illnesses, and keep them right here at home, instead of having to move to another state bringing their assets, income and tax dollars elsewhere when we need them right here at home. Please sign this petition if you support the need to vote on this critical issue, we have many who need this help today!
