When I first heard about the news, I was absolutely shocked. I chose to go to CSUN knowing that there was an ABSN program. Had it not been for this program, I would have not gone to CSUN. Not only is it the only program in The Valley, but the closure of the program will decrease even more the number of nurses needed.

Please keep the program! Nursing is a second career for many of us and we do not have the time to go to school for years. This program was great. Now I'm an ER nurse at LACUSC
