Counter-Strike: Global Offensive already has a lot of cosmetic items that you can purchase to change the look of or customize your weapon or UI. Some of these extremely rare items costs hundreds, even thousands of dollars.

After the release of the newest CS:GO update, you can now spray "graffiti" around the in-game maps. You can get different graffiti patterns either by buying them on the Steam Community Market, or by getting (lower-grade) patterns as free weekly drops.

The catch is, you only can spray the pattern 50 times before it runs out of "charges". 50 sprays isn't all that much. Let's say you spray a certain graffiti pattern once every round. You would have less than two full competitive matches worth of sprays. Once it runs out, you have to re-purchase the pattern again before you can continue spraying it. So not only do you have to buy a pattern you like to begin with, you have to continue to re-purchase it over-and-over again if you want to continue spraying it.

Raising (or eliminating) the spray limit would make purchasing patterns more worth your money. Valve still would be profiting, and players would be more inclined to purchasing graffiti patterns.
