The CSGO Competitive time maximum is 7 days, as my knowledge goes. What the time is based on I don't know, but it's ridiculous. If someone times out by ACCIDENT, like if the internet goes out, you can get a 30 minute ban, to a day(s) ban. If you have bad internet, your internet goes out alot. And the more you abandon a competitive match, the longer it will get. For one, the 7 day ban should not exist unless under certain circumstances. Also, timing out should not be seen as a abandon, if the player does not join back in the given time. Although it would be frowned upon, timing out should not result in a punishment, if they do it should be 30 min-1 hour at max.
