There must be a better solution. Small communities will be facing this dilemma more and more - balanced decisions with consideration to local needs is essential.

We don't need this cell tower here and not only will it be ugly, it is very bad for one's health.

I really hope the cemetery can be protected. It's a beauty and it should stay that way...

While we all need cell phone reception, a cellphone tower with it's needed access road and space does not need to be so close to a small community. Surely a more acceptable site can be found.

A cellphone tower here would be so out of place in this beautiful spot. Constructions like this can gradually destroy the historic character of Cold Spring that makes it special.

There have been several sites offered to this company to place their additional tower. They refuse to accept them, or provide adequate reasoning for rejecting them. They have not been willing to meet the community halfway, and are trying to strongarm their way into placing this uneeded tower wherever they want regardless of health, feasibilty, or community concerns. This alone is reason enough for them to be forced to change their intended site

My Husband's parents and other relatives are buried at the Cold Spring Cemetery and is a very meaningful and historically significant place for many more reasons. The landscape design and variety of rare trees is a treasure that should not be diminished by a cell tower!

I live close to the Cold Spring Cemetery and walk through as often as I can. It is a beautiful serene place that is a gift to this community as well as the families who have loved ones buried there. A cell tower is ill-advised in this location.
