DC should add lag compensation to cs2d to allow fairer gameplay between players with different latencies. Currently, lua lag compensation by FlooD (https://gist.github.com/854210) does that but with the following issues: nondirectional hit sounds, questionable performance on slower servers, no kill sounds, inaccurate hit indicators, useless tactical shield, possible incompatibility with other lua scripts, etc...
