I need signatures to help me propose a law. My children have been removed from my care due to an accusation of sexual abuse against my 3 year old daughter. The state then placed my daughter in the home of the accuser and they refuse to remove her. This woman now has my child calling her Mommy and I have been told in front of caseworkers that the woman has told her to call me Crystal and to call her Mommy. She stated to SRS that she raised my child and has went as far as setting up a bedroom for her in her home that was always an office which I have photos of to prove this is not true. The stories of the "abuse" has continued to change and alter thorughout my child's time living with this woman and even workers have began to be concerned with the validity of the accusations since they are constantly changing. I feel that had my child not been placed to live with this woman the SRS could have gotten to the truth that this never happened. I believe that in a case where abuse is being accused, the accuser should not have any rights to have the child to live with them as it is a conflict of interest. The child/children should be placed in an uninvolved third party's home until the child can be placed back home in an attempt to solidify the accusations or to find the accusations false. My child has been fed so many things that she is now asking me why she has to call me Crystal and why she can't come home and I am not able to stand up for her and tell her anything. The woman that has my child has been the one speaking to the therapists, counselors, police, etc; and this is not a valid way to pursue these matters! There have been no criminal charges due to no proof of abuse yet I still do not have my kids and this woman STILL has my daughter. I have even been told by workers that they would have never placed my child with her in the first place due to untruths and inconsistencies. Please sign my petition to keep children away from accusers to promote a fair, impartial placement for children whom are placed in the SRS/CPS system.
