Stop the Ban of Crying For Tears: The Sasha Pierce Story in PA D.O.C.
Recently my novel was banned by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. The reason stated was a minor was being molested in the prologue of the novel. Of course, I would not be able to write about the ills of sexual molestation and human trafficking if they didn't exist. An artist's job is to examine and expose the social ills of the world in which he lives while uniquely transforming this examination into works of art, i.e., poems, novels, paintings, sculptures, etc. I can assure that "Crying For Tears" is not the concoction of a perverted mind, rather an innocent attempt at highlighting and eventually bringing an end to the heinous mistreatment of women and children here in the U.S. and abroad.
Anyone who advocates the freedom of speech, freedom of press, and the attempt to bring light to a very dark subject, please sign to show your support. Thank you.
