The petition of the people of Croydon declares that human trafficking continues to blight our town.
The Petitioners therefore request that the House of Commons urges the Government to use its influence to maintain a dedicated anti-trafficking unit in the Metropolitan Police.

i have a young daughter and this stuff keeps me up at night. we need more eyes on the streets not less.
Living in Croydon for 20 years and its getting worse. We need the police to actually do something about this. Keep the unit open.
Finally someone is pushing back. about time.
What is the govt thinking? cut budgets somewhere else but keep the people safe. trafficking is a stain on this country.
Absolute disgrace that this is even a discussion. KEEP THE FUNDING.
