If you fail in this plight, would it be worth trying to get speed bumps on the road as speed is a problem on the hill to The Ship...

This crossing is long overdue, even more overdue is the speed restrictions down Crown Hill. This is getting a dangerous road.

this is long overdue in the are of Crown Hill given how many families need to cross at busy times with pushchairs and toddlers. The outcome of Covid is that more people are now walking and that is another reason for families with animals being exercised or children on their small bikes. Saftey first please, lets not wait until there is a casualty.
Just make sure it is appropriatley placed not like the street carming measure on a junction!

Can we also have a petition for speed controls on the main road behind Cadwal Court. It's an absolute nightmare with speeding cars, doing way in excess of 30mph. It's just so dangerous- they use it to sleep up and race before the traffic lights or roundabout.

Great news. All the traffic around the main road and crown hill needs more controls. The speeding in the area is out of hand.

This pedestrian crossing is needed. The health and safety of the residents on the Crown Hill estate and surrounding area are at risk due to the amount of traffic and the speed that some vehicles travel along that stretch of the road. RCT are aware of these risks and an accident is foreseeable unless this crossing is put in place.
