There is no safe place to cross all along this road and often there is speeding motorists. I would like a safe place to cross so that my children can go out independently when they are older without me worrying about them crossing that road. It is also a nightmare to cross when walking with young children and a dog!

Crown hill is like a racetrack only a matter of time before somebody gets run over and killed.

A serious accident is waiting to happenon Crown Hill. How is my daughter expected to cross the road safely on her way home from school each day?

Cars are always racing up and down this road definitely need a crossing or something to enable people to cross safely

Crown Hill is an accident waiting to happen. The only time it was safe to cross was during lockdown when traffic was less. The speed which cars go up and down the hill is ridiculous. It's dangerous for the elderly, children and those trying to cross with dogs. Yesterday a car overtook another car just before The Ship Inn at about 50/60mph with no care for the 30 mph speed limit. Frankly, there needs to be more than one crossing or you need to install some sort of traffic calming.

It is definitely needed far too many people speed up this road. I think two crossings need to be put there, one by The Ship pub and another further up

I see many children crossing this road..many without an adult .
To catch or get off the school bus.
Walking to and from school....And
Accessing the many children's activity groups, that take place in the community centre.
We definitely need a crossing for the safety of all the children.

Absolutely essential, cars coming off the bypass drive over 30mph and so many children walking home from school are put at risk. This needs to be put in place to encourage drivers to be mindful and to allow the children a safe, visible place to cross.

I cross this road regularly with children. It’s a busy road and vehicles are often driving quite fast. A crossing would be a great help

RCTCBC please listen to residents who are concerned about their safety in crossing the road at Crown Hill - traffic still travels too fast despite traffic calming measures. A safe crossing is needed!
