Essential for children's safety whilst walking to school.

Walking to and from school bus stops and crossing the road on Crown Hill with a pram can be very difficult and dangerous.

Essential to have a pedestrian crossing on crown hill. There could have been a fatality last year when an 11 year boy was knocked over.

Morning Joel, Thanks for this petition it is much needed. As a parent seeing the amount of people speed up and down this road is disgusting especially while we are in lockdown as many more of us are walking/cycling as a form of exercise. I’ve seen cars do up to 50mph on this road and it is only a matter of time before an accident happens. I think we need three raised crossings. One by the ship allowing people to walk and to cross where the brow of the hill can obscure sight of cars coming off the bypass, one by the community centre for the bus stop and community centre and one just up crown hill by crown hill drive. This will stop people speeding in a residential area where there are children and elderly people present with a school not far.

Crown Hill has got busier and with lots of children crossing to walk to school or to scouts I think a crossing is important.

My house backs onto the main road and the speed that cars travel up and down is awful. The nose in the evenings with cars racing up and down keeps us up some nights
