Current configuration is dangerous for strollers and children getting to the park from this dense residential area. A crosswalk would prevent any future accidents.

I cross from the bus stop towards 85th almost everyday. And I feel unsafe to cross, especially during winter season.

I had been trying to request several times to the City of Surrey for more than 5 years still they engineering department will not considered. I have my disable son have a very hard time to cross the street from the bus stop to 85th ave. Likewise I had my disable mom had almost run over because the driver intentional speed up his car towards to my mom. Luckily I was there to protect her. This is a very serious safety issue that the city is just waiting something that will happen just like the murdered incident in Newton.

We're risking our lives crossing the street trying to get to the park with our dog, especially at night. The people getting off the bus on the west side of 140th are in danger of getting run over. Anyone with children can't walk all the way to 84th or 88th...please get this done! Second try to convince the city this is important.

We have lived here 22 years and whenever crossing 140th at 85th you always have to consider that you are taking your life into your hands. No cars do the speed limit on 140th a pedestrian activated crosswalk would definitely be warranted.
