We respectfully request that a crosswalk be created crossing Independence Avenue between the Harvard Vanguard West Roxbury parking lot and Hancock Village/Bertucci's Plaza. Every day, many pedestrians jaywalk here as there is presently no crosswalk. A crosswalk could be placed a safe distance from the intersection of VFW Parkway and Independence Avenue. This crosswalk would be used but staff and patients at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates as well as residents of Hancock Village and patrons of the stores in the Bertucci's Plaza. In addition, there presently is a bus stop that would also benefit. Thank you for your support and consideration.
