Unacceptable use of green space, which will have a major negative impact on the local community.

Please don't blot our park! It's a much loved sanctuary in London that has had much investment from the community over the years. There has to be other more viable options than scaring part of Shoreditch's history and soul.

I'm a former resident of Gainsborough Studios, the park has not long been landscaped and should be preserved as it is. It's a much needed and popular park in a densely populated area.

Shoredtich Park a valuable and valued community, social, recreational facility in the heart of a high density residential area where the majority of dwellings have no outside space. Building such a large and obtrusive structure would have a significant negative impact on community enjoyment of this essential facility. Access along Poole Street and the surrounding streets is already very restricted, construction disruption would create impossible access situations. Shoreditch Park is the only green public space in the area. There are alternative sites that will not create such negative impacts on community and access.

I spend a lot of time in Shoreditch Park with my niece & nephew who love it. It provides a safe place for children to play, for families to gather and for people of all ages to hang out in. There isn't anything similar nearby so please don't destroy such a popular and convenient park.

As a former resident I'm signing this as the area already has very limited green space. It's important what's left is preserved.

Unacceptable to dig up the park for 6 years & take away green space!

Can't believe anyone would want to take away green space in a built up City , bloody ridiculous .

The park is used constantly by mothers and babies (myself being one), dog walkers, joggers, children playing football, picnickers, sunbathers etc. I cannot believe you would even consider ruining the park!

Would prefer to have the park as it stands today and not have a construction site for months on end. Surely there are other urban areas around (and not a green space) that can be used for the effect.

Please don't knock down Britinnia Leisure Centre, great place for a quiet swim! Then a nice walk through Shoreditch Park, I don't want a 6 year construction site to spoil a lovely park.

Please don't tear down the leisure centre we frequently use and the only bit of open greenery in this area that our young children can play in!!!

There must be a better place for the ventilation shaft than Shoreditch park - like old warehouses nearby

As a resident of Gainsborough Studios, I strongly oppose the location of the Crossrail vent in Shoreditch Park. I think there are good alternatives like old warehouses nearby which should make it easy to find another solution. We use the Park on a daily base.

As a resident of Gainsborough Studios, I strongly oppose the location of the Crossrail vent in Shoreditch Park. It's the only bit of green space in the area enjoyed by some many of the local people.

Shoreditch Park is the only green open space in the area. Continued building means more people are living here and makes this park even more valuable and necessary. There must be another option.

So of all the places to build this monstrosity you don't look to all the wasteland available or the derelict and ugly buildings. You turn to the beautiful park that has had council money spent on it only just last year. Such clever thinking taking away such valuable space for local residents, children and young families. This space helps build the local community. Look at areas that don't have such a positive impact.

There must be somewhere else to use that won't eat up our only park - please think again.
