I agree this is a wonderful idea that is very much needed. Surely there are enough of folks that do not work, retired or like to help our community that our children will be safe.

I personally live a couple houses down from Franklin elementary. The traffic during school times is rediculous. Hurried drivers who don’t pay attention. Limited parking and no supervision makes its very dangerous. We need cross guards before and after school!! Forever in our hearts Christian. We miss you

I feel like that would make a differance, because that is a horrible thing to happen to a young kid or any one in general.

I strongly believe it would of saved his life! I had them when I was in grade school over 15 years ago. It will not only help put parents at ease but it’s just the right thing to do!!! I hope to see this happen

I used to live on the corner of 9th and Boone. The new light helps a lot. There were constant wrecks there and it was a very busy Miller crossing intersection.
