Cross Walk for Dodge Park Entrance

Oh come on! Why does it take an online petition to get this problem in the public!

There should definitely at least be a crosswalk at the park entrance across S Commerce Rd. I am very surprised that this hasn't already been done.

You have my vote. I am a local real estate agent and I work off Commerce and Union. I am always driving these roads, and often see children trying to cross the streets without crosswalks or other means. I definitely agree that our children's safety should come first.

Agreed! People drive too fast and crazy down all these roads. I would love to see more done to promote pedestrians and pedestrian safety. I would love to add that we need more sidewalks too!

id like to add carrol lake rd and cooley intersection to my list if concerns for a traffic light.

Fellow Commerce resident seeing the congestion and danger it's creating. Dodge Park absolutely needs a safe crosswalk!

This is a great idea! We bike to Dodge park all the time and it is risky at times. I wish Commerce had sidewalks on main roads as well.
