We as a nation need to band together NOW or risk losing a generation to this drug ... A person caught with a personal quantity of this drug is sick and needs help ... A person caught with more than a personal quantity has other intentions and needs to be locked up to think about their actions ... We already have jails , where is the same devotion to rehab centers ? It doesnt exist because the powers that be think that a poor , sick person hooked on this crap is a criminal rather than a person suffering from addiction ... The law makers need to learn about addiction because its not a crime to be an addict ... Addicts are sick people and with help , could kick the habit and return to normal society , be productive and give back to the system that helped them ... But not in today's world ... The law makers dont see anything other than a drug affected person that should be in jail ... Pushers go to jail , addicts go to rehab ...
