As a resident of Fairmount I am very excited to see the continuing resurgence of Girard Avenue. Crime and Punishment is an integral part of that resurgence.

If Iron Hill Brewery can be located on Germantown Avenue in Chestnut Hill, I don't see why Crime & Punishment can't come to Girard Avenue. A microbrewery/pub is not the same thing as an industrial manufacturing plant. Use your heads, people!

If the zoning is correct and you have received building permits for the stated use of a brewery there should have been an approval of the use based on the zoning requirements before any building permits were approved. Have you reached out to your City Council Rep?

Crime and Punishment is the best kind of small business. Home grown, job-creating, delivering an excellent product and service in which our city should take pride. Allow them to continue and please fix, now, whatever legislation impeeds their, and other similar entrepreneurs, progress to do business in our city. We should be going out of our way to assist them and expedite their time to market.

The neighborhood could benefit for this opening and the city should begin to look at the bigger picture of economic growth and stability that this can bring.

As a brewery owner in Philadelphia, this city should be making it much easier to start these sorts of businesses, not harder. They bring tourism and revenue and also act as anchors allowing other businesses to thrive nearby.

The city should be fostering economic growth along this corridor, not blocking it. Let's push this through.

I support this business to freely explore economic growth where it was founded, which the local government should also be dedicated to providing as it is in the interest of the citizens and businesses they serve.

Craft Brewery in Brewerytown? Whats the problem? Its not a pizza delivery place? Sarcasm aside, craft brewing has been growing nationally, creating jobs and revenue while producing a great product. Our neighborhood is long overdue for a small brewery,
