We are now moving into the planning phase to review site layouts and infrastructure requirements. Thank you for providing the data necessary to demonstrate the clear demand for this facility.

Final supporters
With the growth of Cricket in the west michigan area, the demand for cricket ground had increased dramatically in the last couple years. This petition is to get a head count of everyone who is in support of the need for cricket ground(s) in the area. All current and future cricket enthusiasts in the greater grand rapids area are welcome to sign this petition.

The volume of support has reached a level that allows us to formally request a meeting with the Parks and Recreation department. We are currently finalizing the project proposal and site requirement documents to present at that hearing.

With more than 300 players we definitely need another ground preferably in the NE side.
We have many sports enthusiasts in Grand Rapids, MI It would be helpful and encourage people to come and play and also helps people to connect many others cause I believe sports would be best thing that will connect people better than anything
Much needed. Would be awesome if there were lights for night games to draw an audience too.
We need more grounds as cricket is growing in this area and we have only 1 ground.
Cricket is a sport which was fist played in 16th century in England. Since then this sport spread its wings across the world. Now more than 10 countries are full members of the International Cricket Council and more than 100 countries are associate members of this council including USA. There are more than 15 teams in and around Grand Rapids want to play cricket, unfortunately we don’t have proper ground/field to play. I would request to develop cricket in this area by providing the ground. There are lots of benefits playing cricket such as better fitness and health, meet new people, develop leadership skills etc.
Need a cricket ground to encourage the sports.

Living here for 5 years and had to drive way too far just to practice. Getting a local field would be a huge deal for the community.
