Family of 6; 5 vehicles, where the hell you want us to park? I’m going to extend the driveway so we can park, and moving the heck out, selling my home. Been here a long time, I keep my House well maintained, and getting a $100 ticket for parking right on the street on my home property is completely outrageous. I leave that fee for someone else who can leave in the community, be a criminal, and have a car or two so they can park and be within this outrageous petition and ordinance. I missed the sign in the community when we bought the home that said 55 and up community, no families more than 3-4, and your kids must be out the house if they start driving, because you will get fined for parking a car in front of your property. I bet the people who signed this, are the very same people that don’t have anything better to do but look out the window and think my value on my is going down because of the car that’s parked there, and we must stand up for it! Now your going to see more and more residents leaving because this is a community that sells homes that are 4-6 bedrooms, but yet you can’t have the vehicle space to park in home comfortably? Doesn’t make sense. I rather sell and leave, and leave the value of these home dropping because you can fit the gap of home and alotted car space. I can buy a home and have a community center, a pool, parking space for guest, not some run down playground with no shade for our kids, run down playground jungle gyms and swings. That’s what these people should petition for. But it goes to show you the characters of the people who petition this craziness. And 11pm? Do none of these people have family get togethers? They will see the increase of homes for sale for sure.

The ordinance is completely ridiculous. I have a family of 6. 6 bedrooms, 5 vehicles, 5 people that drive, where the heck are you supposed to park? I had my lawn mower in a small shed on the side of my house, until that was a problem recently, now I have it in the garage, with the kids bikes, my holiday stuff, and I don’t have the room to fit two cars in the garage as well. When I bought this house 6 years ago, never had an issue. I keep my home updated, painted, well maintained, landscaping nice, and now because of a 100 person petition, you pass an ordinance and passing citations? Where the heck are the other residents in this community to do? Start placing our homes for sale because of an ordinance that passed 6 years after we purchased our home. That’s a reason why we bought this home. We have a family of 6. and 6 room house. There are well over a 100 residents that live here in our community. And families that are well over just four people per household. This definitely needs more signatures then the minut amount of 100 people. This a huge community, 100 signatures only is frankly ludicrous.

When I purchased my home in 2002, with two small children, living in the community was great. Now of course, the children are now grown and each has a car. My husband and I work and we have cars. So parking not being able to park in the street is unreasonable. What are suppose you have family visiting? We don’t have a clubhouse which can generate guest passes. This is a total residential community. Therefore, another alternative needs to be considered.

People in this development have 3-4 cars because they have kids that drive. Where are they suppose to park, they get ticketed parking in their own yard , on the street and in the esment of their driveway. So where are people to park?

This is literally such a pointless rule. I have 3 cars and no where to park and I got a ticket for parking in my own grass on my own property. I talked to two cops and they both dont know why I got a ticket

I don’t think it’s fair to us home owners that have multiple occupants that have multiple vehicles to be reprimanded for parking in front of our homes!

This parking situation is ridiculous at this point. Many people have more vehicles than driveway space. when we moved into this community a little over a year ago there was street parking. And $100 tickets are outrageous!!!

My house has 4 bedrm and 1 master. My children are in college and working they each have a vehicle. My husband and I wrk, we each have a vehicle. The community should of supplied larger garages if they didn't want cars in the street. Or home with 2 -3 bedrms.

With homes having upwards of 6 residents of driving age per household, having only 2 parking spots per home is hardly enough allotted space to park any vehicles.
