Credit scoring should only be specific to the purpose of the application. Housing, Credit Cards, and Loans should be seperate credit scores

The credit scoring system in the United States is outdated and needs to become specific to the purpose. There should be a separate credit score for housing, one for credit cards, and lastly loans (car loans, personal loans, school loans. Many people will put their housing payment first, even when unemployment and hardships strike, yet to try to get a mortgage or rent a new home, people are being declined because of medical bills or credit card history. If there is a perfect housing history or car loan history then why be punished for credit instances that are different. A separate credit scoring system can accurately specify if there is a good/bad mortgage history, or if there have been specific problems with car loans. Discrimination against a person for going to college, with no loan payments due yet, when trying to purchase something as mere as an appliance is unjustified. College loans are very specific with low payments that start after graduation and yet they are held against your credit the entire length of college. Change the credit system to work for the people as well as the businesses who are utilizing them.
