I do not agree with the kennel clubs field trials sub committee's decision on the 14th of September to rescind Mr Andrew Platts appointment to judge the 2017 cocker spaniel championships. It is my opinion that Mr Platt should be re appointed
Happy to sign this, l don't see why anyone would have a problem DNA testing cockers. At the end of the day it would ensure an even playing field for all competitors and safe gaurd the breed standard of these wonderful little dogs.

No one should be penalised for whistle blowing on bad and fraudulent practice that bring the validity of the KC register into disrepute. The KC need to get their house in order and start penalising those fraudulent breeders and puppy farmers who hide behind the KC pedigree scheme and dupe unsuspecting customers.

He definitely should be re-appointed, he has raise the concerns of many, people are entering dogs in FT with false KC pedigrees, the KC should be ashamed that they are doing nothing other than penalising the person who brings this to there attention.

Andy was just protecting himself and his dogs from the gossip by testing his dog and being open about it, He didn't cause the rumours, it was already happening. I hope he gets reinstated. This is so sad

People coming into trialling expect its regulators to be as rigorous in defending its integrity as a fair and honest sport as they are in maintaining a very suspect status quo.
