“Promulgated by CIFA, the Creation Stewardship Pledge is an action premised commitment that has been specically framed to mobilize the Christian faith community towards the adoption of creation stewardship action frameworks in pursuit of low carbon and sustainable futures with the understanding that global warming exists and anthropogenic activities have critically worsened it.”

The Creation Stewardship commitment as a tool serves to inspire uniformed creation care collective actions. It's a foundation effort that creates endless possibilities for the application of stewardship mechanisms, models and actions within the Christian Faith Landscape as a timely and much needed response to the urgent and deleterious threats derived from climate and environmental injustice.

This commitment is a call to honest, sincere and traceable efforts and actions by the collective Church towards creation stewardship. It's a key document that represents the combined voice of the Church in matters relating to climate, ecological and environmental justice.
