The creation of Student Union for the use of student and student organizations/clubs is beyond necessary. This will have the space for clubs and organizations to request office hours of available room to make them a real presence on campus as well as in a way that makes them accessible in the way that NUSGA is. Potential spot for a student run coffee and restaurant spot. Large area for the use of students at anytime that is just a space for students in a way that the Gallagher Center is not, it is too many things at once a gym, a business an office for Campus Activities, etc. This should likely be placed in the upper level of Depaul or in the Basement.

I have spent the past few days discussing potential locations for this building with fellow students who share our vision for a dedicated space. The feedback confirms that the campus lack of a central hub for student life remains a primary concern for our community.

Gallagher is always way too crowded. We need a real place to sit and actually get stuff done.
seriously depaul needs this. nowhere to go between classes that isnt a total chaotic mess.
the clubs need a home base. how are we supposed to grow if we dont have an actual space?
YES. a student run cafe would be amazing. so much better then the overpriced stuff we have now.
it is about time! trying to find a room for club meetings is a nightmare right now.
