We are trying to persuade the local MP to try to create a minimum wage for under 16's. Currently there is no minimum wage for under 16. However there is a minimum wage for people who want to do apprentices. If we create a minimum wage students can set a path and have an inside on what they want to do when they are older. Also if we create a minimum wage students can save up money for further education or to buy books for class. If we introduce a minimum wage there will be less teenagers hanging around in the high street as they will be working. This can reduce the crime rate from under 16's significantly

I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the momentum this is gathering. This is completely unexpected and it reflects how many people care about fair opportunities for young workers. None of this would be happening without the way you have all stepped up to support this idea.

YES PLEASE. i work 15 hours a week and barely have enough for my bus fare let alone school stuff. hope this works

about time honestly. my boss pays me peanuts and expects us to do the same work as the adults who get paid double
