We are trying to persuade the local MP to try to create a minimum wage for under 16's. Currently there is no minimum wage for under 16. However there is a minimum wage for people who want to do apprentices. If we create a minimum wage students can set a path and have an inside on what they want to do when they are older. Also if we create a minimum wage students can save up money for further education or to buy books for class. If we introduce a minimum wage there will be less teenagers hanging around in the high street as they will be working. This can reduce the crime rate from under 16's significantly
