We, the residents and supporters of Beaconsfield, are asking for improvements to public transportation in our community. Beaconsfield is a great place to live, but getting around without a car can be difficult. Many people—including seniors, students, people with disabilities, and families—depend on public transit every day. Right now, the system doesn’t always meet their needs. Common issues: Buses that don’t run often enough, especially outside rush hour Limited routes that don’t connect well to important places like shops, schools, and medical services Bus stops and sidewalks that aren’t fully accessible for everyone Safety concerns at some stops due to poor lighting or maintenance What we’re asking for: We’re asking local leaders to make public transit more accessible and reliable by: Increasing how often buses and commuter services run Expanding routes to accommodate all neighborhoods Improving accessibility with better-designed bus stops and safer sidewalks Making transit stops safer with proper lighting, shelters, and upkeep Listening to residents through community feedback
