Being from California and a dog owner I often take my dogs to a local dog friendly beach but currently the closest beach is almost an hour drive away. I would like to propose that the state of California creates at least two dog friendly beaches per a oceanside county. This would greatly improve the state because many of the citizens own at least one dog and it would make a trip to the beach even more fun for them if they could bring along their family dog. I know that dogs do love to play in the water and being able to play in the surf would be great fun for them so it would make their lives much better if the state created more of these beaches.
