Sign this petition if you would like UBC to provide more Neuroscience focused courses for undergraduates!

A large body of undergraduate students at UBC express interest in neuroscience courses and attempt to integrate them into their degrees. Though, there is a very limited number of up-to-date upper-level neuroscience classes offered.

Additionally, there is a particular need for inquiry-based classes at the higher level: the current neuroscience classes are mostly survey classes which do not focus on teaching scientific thinking or applying the scientific method to experimental design, but rather only provide the necessary material for it.

Ultimately, our goal is to have a world-class neuroscience education as undergraduates at UBC to not only meet the expectations of the students, but also trigger more interest and further prepare undergraduates for participating in cutting-edge research in their graduate studies.
