Under the current organizational structure, State agencies dealing with child abuse and neglect have extensive difficulty reaching across state lines to retrieve previous CPS or DCS information that aids in criminal child abuse and neglect cases. Providing our social work professionals with centralized data that incorporates complaints nationwide has the potential to provide life-changing support to vulnerable children in need of a loving environment to succeed.
